Times Square - ABC Studios and Disney Store

With the Disney Development Company and Imagineering staff, our office was responsible for developing a signage program for ABC Television Studios and the temporary Disney store in Times Square. Both projects involved the design of complex structural systems to accommodate wind load and complex curvilinear geometry.
The Disney installations were centerpieces of the redevelopment effort sponsored by the Empire State Redevelopment Corp., incorporating lighting and video animatronics. The ABC Studios Sign has become a recognizable icon for the new Times Square.
