Working with the renown décorateur Henri Samuel our firm developed new Galleries for the display of European and Decorative Arts including the Jack and Belle Linsky Galleries. Along with the Wrightsman Room II developed with Stephen Saitis Design, these galleries are the centerpiece of the MET’s collection devoted to objects d’art, paintings and period furniture set in rooms that are replicas of the Louis Quatorze Period. Our firm assisted in the design and was in charge of all aspects of implementing the work. The historic reproduction of The Louis XIV Bedroom Suite, The French Medallion Galleries, and the Wrightsman Room, were carefully designed to incorporate the authentic materials and building techniques of the period represented.
